Please give us a short summary of your website?

Palmetto Canning Co. has been in the food manufacturing or co packing business since 1927. We make jellies of all flavors, barbeque sauce, hot sauces, mojos, and other marinades.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Business need

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

2002 - www.PalmettoCanning.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is the name of the company.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

3rd generation family run business in the USA.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Continue operating as we have for 80 years with limited growth in the areas that matches what we offer.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Very well

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We do our own onsite development with our IT department.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We can expand as needed.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

The professionalism involved in operating a well established business.
