Hungry? Main dish still not around? Then it's time to take your appetizer more seriously and get more nutritional value out of it. Forget the traditional appetizer menu. Do something different on your own, or at least get some help from someone who really knows.
Take the help, for example, of chef Zak Dolezal of Duke's Alehouse and Kitchen in Crystal Lake. He claims to serve some of the best sandwiches and appetizers in town.
