Eastern European Food is one of the many About.com Web sites supported by the New York Times. This site is about the cooking and customs of the Eastern European countries of Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, the Czech and Slovak republics, Lithuania, Ukrainia and more.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I am a former executive chef, pastry chef and culinary school instructor. I wanted to share my knowledge.
