Real Irish Food Recipes Interview

By Interviewer at 07/28/07 07:12

Name of your website?

Real Irish Food Recipes

Your name?

Bia Eire

Your Location (city, etc)

Dublin

When did you start your website and why?

Started the REAL IRISH FOOD RECIPES website with the intention of promoting real Irish Recipes in June 2007., and hopefully recoup enough money to maintain the site.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

RISH FOOD,REAL IRISH FOOD is the bounty of a nation rich in foods finest ingredients.

Fish, Lamb, Poultry, Beef, Pork, Game, Seafood,Fresh Vegetables, Bread and even Irish beverages all with a dash of genius and a large pinch of individuality.

Put all that together and what you get is REAL IRISH FOOD.

The perception that Irish Food, whether it is traditional or modern, consists solely of bacon and cabbage really is so far off the mark.I hope to redress that image, even if only a little.

I use the Site Build It website builder and hosting and could not speak highly enough of their entire set-up. It's a brilliant system for the experienced website builder let alone a complete newbie like me. Their sucess rate in helping people achieve top ranking websites is phenomenal.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Building up sufficient links to please Google is very time consuming and monotonous.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Creating search engine optimised pages using the Site Build It block by block pagebuilder.

What was your biggest mistake?

Not discovering Site Build It earlier. Wasted a lot of money and time on stupid ideas.

Who maintains your website and why?

I maintain it as it is my passion and maybe now even an obsession.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

I can see clearly with my own website that there is no shotcut. Genuine, unique content is KING with the search engines. On my site I provide the unique content and Site Build It helps me optimise that content for the search engines. Trickery does not work.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

The REAL IRISH FOOD RECIPES site is starting to rank well although Google's apparent likeness for links can be a little tortuous and the slownes of ASK to crawl is frustrating.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Yahoo answers and of course high quality ,unique content.

What is your website address?
