Please give us a short summary of your website?

Gourmet and Flavored Coffee roasted fresh daily. A selection of cajun and gourmet foods.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We have been roasting coffee since 1896 and wanted to offer them to a larger customer base

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

about 2000, to see our coffee on the internet

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is the name of our coffee, which Jelks is my last name

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We offer a very large selection of flavored coffees that is made to order only after customer places their order. Being from Louisiana I thought the rest of the country would love our foods also

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep our company in the family and increase our presents in the US.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I think we have been very sucessful for a small family business.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Most like hire professions to help with its design and promotion

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

For sure.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

The biggest headache these days are employees.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Learn the most as I can about the internet ecommerce and tring to promote our site

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is more dificult learning all the aspects of the web business that I thought

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I love what it is doing and will continue for a long time. It is where I want our business to go.
