Internationally famous, Thai cuisine is famous with its distinct flavors that are most of the time are hot and spicy. Aside from being spicy, Thai food also is guided in harmony by the five fundamental flavors which are, hot, sour, sweet, salty and bitter and are strongly characterized by extensive use of seafood.
With the conducted survey to 1000 Thai restaurants around the world, tom yam kung or the spicy shrimp soup tops the list of the most famous Thai dishes.
