Food safety in the United States has hardly developed. In may have, in fact, deteriorated given that there have been a lot of product pull-outs in the last few weeks, including pistachio and peanut butter. Thus, it is no wonder if there are calls to revamp the entire system of accrediting safe food items. Further measures need to be implemented to prevent more food-borne illneses.
